Menna Fitzpatrick and Jennifer Kehoe

Together, Menna and Jen are a visually impaired alpine race pair, training with the British Para-Snowsport Team.

Menna is legally blind, and Jen is her sighted guide. They work as a team to complete the race course as fast as possible and both cross the finish line safely. It is similar to a Rally driving partnership with a twist: the driver can’t see where she is going!

In 2016, Menna and Jen won the Overall World Cup title in the visually impaired class, the first British athletes in history to have won that title! They compete all 5 events in alpine skiing, and their favourite one to race is Giant Slalom! Menna started skiing when she was 5, and Jen started when she was 9. They have been skiing together for 2 years and this year, they aim to represent GB at the Winter Paralympics in South Korea!

You can find out more about them on their website www.mennaandjen.co.uk, on their FB page (https://www.facebook.com/MennaandJen/) or on their social media Instagram & Twitter: @mennaandjen
