Lake Geneva Region

The Lake Geneva region presents a diverse natural wealth, with rolling Jura hills to the north, tablelands, lakeside Riviera on the Lake Geneva shores and Vaud Alps to the east.

The area to the north of Lake Geneva (not including Geneva itself) including Montreux, Vevey and Lausanne mountain resorts such as Villars and Les Diablerets. Villars-sur-Ollon is situated below the Glacier 3000 resort.

Downhill skiing on the Alpine glaciers of the canton of Vaud, cross-country skiing or snow-shoeing across the Jura range, city life and sophisticated dining, are all possible in the Lake Geneva region.

Offering extensive woods and plateaux, which entice you to explore the Vallée de Joux, St-Cergue or Ste-Croix/Les Rasses. Hospitable mountain villages present a wide range of winter sports: 500 km of downhill runs, more than 200 different modes of transport and special highlights such as igloo adventures and hot-air balloon rides. Few regions offer as wide a variety of holiday pursuits as does the area surrounding Lake Geneva.
