Chill Factore is home to the UK's longest indoor skiing and snowboarding slope and the coolest family day out in the North West. Located just off the M60 and next to the Trafford centre.

Come and enjoy exhilarating alpine activities just 4 miles from Manchester City Centre and right next to the Trafford Centre and the M60. With so much going on at Chill Factore, you're spoilt for choice. From hitting our incredible 180 metre long, real snow slope to learn new skills or to hone your technique, to dining with friends and family or enjoying a spot of shopping on our Alpine Street, there's bound to be something to keep you coming back for more.

We have a wealth of structured lessons, which allow students to learn how to ski or snowboard, along with snow fun activities, like Tube, Luge and Snowplay. Call our helpful team who will happily assist you with planning the perfect field trip.

Beginner Snowboard Lessons

At Chill Factore, our beginner snowboarding lessons get you geared up and raring to hit the lower main slope with style and confidence!

If you’ve never snowboarded before, our qualified instructors are here to help you from the second you step onto the snow. In our beginner snowboard lessons, you’ll learn about 'toe edge' and 'heel edge' techniques, as well as how to control your pace, link your turns and move safely in a diagonal line across a real snow slope.

Our beginner ski lessons at Chill Factore are ideal if you’re new to the sport and want to learn from the ground up. From balance and posture, to controlling speed and linking turns; our beginner skiing lessons will help you master the basics of skiing in a safe and encouraging environment.

From putting on a pair of skis for the first time, to completing your first exciting run of the Beginner Slope; your Chill Factore qualified instructor will be with you at each step of your learn-to-ski journey.

New people are not charged extra from lift pass -ask for MCCSC.

The session is 1 and a half hours, again if someone is coming to telemark, I advise contacting me first on info@mscsco.org.uk, preferably by the Wednesday before the Saturday to check about equipment and that there will be appropriate instructors
available.
