Telemark Skiing

MCCSC is proud of the strength and depth of its coaches and provides coaching for intermediate and advanced Telemarkers (including racing & moguls) plus introduction to Telemark courses* (*Alpine experience required, skiers must be able to control speed & direction from the top of the main slope). The fortnightly coaching sessions explore the full range of modern Telemark techniques and their application to enable personal development (at various levels) whilst having fun in an enthusiastic club environment. The MCCSC race team won the indoor series overall. Many members have been inspired to enter the Coaching scheme to train as instructors and coaches in their own right. Chillfactore also have a limited range of Telemark equipment, including the latest NTN, enabling greater control and comfort. The smallest boot size is adult Mondo 24 UK5 in NT/75mm and Mondo 26 UK7 in NTN. Thus it is kit which controls access rather than age.

What to Bring / Equipment

Please bring your own Telemark boots and or skis if you have them, plus ski clothing.

Bring ski clothing, the temperature will be -2 to -6 degrees C. Telemark equipment if you have it (Chillfactore has a very limited range of skis and boots - TN/75mm & NTN- they can not be mixed). Clothing may be hired (extra cost). Ski pass required.
